The Female Expendables

So recently I found out that they were plans to make all female cast Expendables movie. I had to sit down and think about main cast that I wanted.  Now the rules to my list are they have to be in an action series/ multiply action flicks, they actually have to do most of the action in these so call movies and it must be a mixture of old school and new school. So here we go:

Cynthia RothRock

She is amazing and she has been around for a long time. She is the actual that there is a Sonya Blade in Mortal Kombat.  She has won five world championships and has done over twenty movies in her lifetime (all action). Sad thing is that she is more popular outside of America that she should. She did a lot of Hong Kong flicks in her early years and ended up as a B-movie star in America. I don’t really care if she is a villain or a good guy in this movie. Just put her in and give her the credit she deserves.

Michelle Yeoh

One of the best Bond girls and also starting out in Hong Kong like Miss Rothrock up top (actually they stared in many a Hong Kong flick together, in 80′s you couldn’t see a Michelle Yeoh in movie without Cynthia Rothrock next to her.) She is familiar in America but not as popular. Funny thing is that she’s a dancer and pageant winner before becoming an on screen femme fatale. I found it strange that she didn’t get pick up for the Expenables 2 since her and Jet Li have been a duo during the 90′s even the 2000 ‘s on screen. (yes she did Supercop with Jackie Chan but she did way more movies in Hong Kong with Jet Li). In my female version of the Expendables she would be the leader.

Milla Jovovich

Miss Daze and Confused is still doing action even now. Played Joan of Arc, fought aliens and still killing  zombies. Definitely a must for the Le Femme Expendables. Also she speaks Russian making her a really badass heroine or a great villain. Either way, give her guns, swords and a bike.

Grace Jones

GRACE JONES SCARES THE SHIT OUT OF ME! This is a fact. She scared her way on to this list.  An awesome song artist from Jamaica, she held her own with the Governator and dated Dolph Lundgren (in real life). Also she give agent 007 a run  for his money and give birth to a perfume. I need Grace Jones in this movie.

Pam Grier

The queen of  Blaxploitation and a Badass Mofo. She is one of pioneers of  the film heroine and black action stars. Back in the 70′s she was fighting the man and the evil white she devil,  now she more of a smooth talker. I don’t mind if she doesn’t fire a gun, just give her some good dialog.

Brigitte Nielsen

I believe that anyone that can date Flavor Flav should be in this list. That’s like doing an action movie series. Fought with Arnold Schwarzengger and Ernie Reyes, Jr. (who should be in Expendables 3) in Red Sonja. Also took amazing photos as She-Hulk. She was married to Stallone for a while.  Just give her a broadsword for no reason and put a camera on her.

Zoe Bell

Why her? Why not Uma Thurman? Why not Lucy Lawless? She did all their stunts for them. She has a New Zealand accent, martial arts and  weapon training and gymnastics. Plus she always seem to have a good time with what she does, I want  her to have fun killing people.

Gina Torres, Michelle Rodriguez (even though she said she wasn’t ready for a role like that; I think she’d be great), any previous Doctor Who companion (they’ll be used to running).

  2. gold account says:

In the second half of the 1960s, the Shaws inaugurated a new generation of more intense, less fantastical wuxia films with glossier production values, acrobatic moves and stronger violence. The trend was inspired by the popularity of imported samurai movies from Japan (Chute and Lim, 2003, 8), as well as by the loss of movie audiences to television. This marked the crucial turn of the industry from a female-centric genre system to an action movie orientation (see also the Hong Kong action cinema article). Key trendsetters included Xu Zenghong’s Temple of the Red Lotus (1965), King Hu ‘s Come Drink with Me (1966) and Dragon Inn (1967, made in Taiwan; aka Dragon Gate Inn ), and Chang Cheh ‘s Tiger Boy (1966), The One-Armed Swordsman (1967) and Golden Swallow (1968).
